Is NW Woodturners claiming the AAW symposium discount ($40)?

    Hi All,

    Is our club/chapter eligible for the 2024 AAW Symposium to be held in PDX?

    I received an email from AAW about a $25 discount if one registers by 11/30/23, got directed to the AAW website and saw there was a discount for clubs/chapters and emailed AAW to find out more.  AAW replied that clubs could get a $40 discount (beats the $25 early registration discount).

    Anyone know whether our club qualifies, and what needs to be done to claim it?


    Please advise.

    I was just looking at this. We should easily have more that the 5 minimum to get the club discount. I wonder if the $25 Black Friday sale discount would stack on top of the club discount. 

    There is also the $50 discount for registering before April 5th and a $70 discount for being an AAW member. The AAW membership for a year is $68 a year. 

    I am not sure on the mechanics of how the club discount works. I see where you can request it a you have to enter how many people are going. What if there are additional people who also end up going later, do they not get to use the discount code for $40 off?
