. Two Acacia trees in NW Portland will be taken down today in NW Portland.

Large limbs and two trunks will be left behind on the ground for awhile (few days or weeks?) if anyone can make use of them and can take them away. Large limbs will be cut to 16 inch sections. The two trunks will be left full size, about 18 in diameter, 6 feet long, in case anyone wants to slab them. The heart wood as you probably know is a dark chocolate color.

If there is no one at NW Woodturners at this time who can use this wood, do you know anyone else I should contact?

    Thanks for your attention.

I tried to call him yesterday to go pick up some of this wood but never got a call back. Oh well. I have plenty to keep me busy.
