    Admin Note - looks like a huge burl on the tree

    =======================================================

    I’ve attached a couple photos. The diameter at the thickest part of the base is around 40”. I estimate that the diameter above that is about 24”.

    I thinks it’s around 60-70’ tall. I included the picture of it next to the house for scale.

    We’re in the North Tabor area of Portland.

    If anyone is interested, I’m hoping they could contact us by the end of October. If you don’t think that’s enough time, we could push it out to the end of November.

    I am very interested and I will reach out to Paige soon.  Let me know if anyone else would like to gather some of the wood and we can get a date setup.

    I am interested.  I can help cut up the smaller sections and clean up once it is on the ground.

    Hi everyone.  I spoke to Paige today.  She is still figuring out if the tree will come down and is having people come out and give her quotes to take it down.  She will stay in touch with us and if she decides to take the tree down she will let us know and we can work with her on collecting some wood.

    One question she had was if someone has recommendations for a licensed tree service?

    I've used Ward Tree Care 3 times over about 12 years. They were prompt, excellent and reasonably priced.
