    Looking to buy a lathe for Tualatin High School wood shop - $2000 budget from grants, school funding, etc.  Might be able to go $2500.

    Would like to get a quality full size or midi lathe.  14” to 18’“ swing.  Assume that I well cared for used lathe would be the best value for the money.  Can pick up.

    Please let me know if you have or hear of anything available.

    I am selling my Robust Scout lath, Because I outgrew it . This is a GREAT lath new is $7,579 plus shipping ( which is a lot ), and 6 to 12 weeks waiting time . What you be getting is a 1 1/2 hp Scout lath with a universal stand ,2- toolsrest, 2 face plate ( one is on the hand wheel ) , knockout bar , live center and a tail center. for $7,000 .
