Dave Wood's Shop 24250 SW 65th Ave, Tualatin OR 97062.
The class will start at 8:30 with sharpening the tools required for the class.
We will have three sharpening stations and instructors to help you get started right.
This intermediate workshop focuses on acquiring additional skills for use across a wide range of spindle forms. The instructors give each participant the opportunity to build a collection of work samples to take home and use as a visual guide to the practice and application of their newly expanded skill set.
The last hour is devoted to integrating each participant’s skill set by completing a project suited to the participant’s skill level and interests. Possible projects include a bud vase, tool handles, a dibble, a decorative finial, and legs for stools and benches, all of which make good departure points for learning other skills and making other projects.
